What took so long to make a new update? I just took a massive hiatus from the project to focus on other stuff, but hey, I may as well give the game a few tweaks and additions.
For those of you who have played the demo for Pac-Man Scratched v2.9, many of the features from that version will be pushed back to v3.0, namely the massive internal rework. This update is meant to be more of a filler update so you guys can get some new content after so long. So if some things feel rushed, especially with the new maze, this is why.
NEW MAZE: Arrangement Worlds!
A mad-pac known as @xxX_Gr33n256_HD_Xxx recreated every maze in Pac-Man Arrangement in Pac-Man Scratched. I felt that their work should be included in the actual game.
Some notes with the arrangement mazes:
- Maze preview shows the Pac-Man’s Park maze since I don’t feel bothered to make the pngs. v3.0 will replace this with a more dynamic maze loading system.
- Ms. Pac-Man fruit pathing follows the same system as the Maze Editor
- The palettes in those mazes will not appear in the random maze selection.
NEW MUSIC: The Pac-Man Arrangement OST!
- You can choose if this music will play in the level order intended or if you want to play one specific track.
Speaking of music, I have also compressed all of the music to reduce the file size of the game.
